A Free Gift

	Where do I go? What should I do? Is there any hope left? Is God real and if so, does He care about me? Questions everyone asks. Questions that don't need to remain unanswered. Yes, God is real. Yes, He does care about you.
Some try to find hope and connection with God by climbing the stairway of doing good things and being a good person. Unfortunately, this climb is neverending. Why? We know our hearts and that we are far from perfect. And yet, if God is perfect, how can we who are not ever stand before him?
	The Bible tells us that  all sin and fall short of the glory of God. This means that our absolute best efforts don't cut it.  In fact, the Bible also says that the penalty for sin is death. This is the reality and plight of all of humanity.
		BUT, God loves you so much that He provided a way for you to be with Him. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to live a perfect life on earth and die in your place and offer forgiveness for all of your wrongdoing. 3 days after dying, he rose from the dead and conquered death!
The Bible says that God demonstrates His love to us in this, while we were still sinners, Jesus died for us.
God offers eternal life to you if you would let Jesus into your life by believing that He died in your place and forgives you for your sins. Jesus stands at the door of your heart knocking. Won't you let Him in? If so, take a moment and express to God your need for Him and your acceptance that Jesus is your deliverer from sin and giver of eternal life.

"For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life"
