Ralph Edmonds Senior Pastor | Pastor Ralph has attended GNBC for over 25 years, served as an elder for 23 years, and has been on the GNBC staff as an Associate Pastor overseeing counseling and Christian education for 18 years. Ralph has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southwest Alabama, an A.A. in Bible/Theology from Southeastern Bible College in Birmingham, Alabama and a M.A. in Christian Education from Talbot Seminary in La Mirada, California. He enjoys jogging during the spring, summer and fall. He values reading and keeping up with the culture and politics. He is married to Mary Christine Edmonds. They have two sons, Zachary and Jared. Zachary is a student at DePaul University majoring in history. Jared is a student at Christian Liberty Academy in Arlington Heights, IL. |
Eric Rivera Associate Pastor | After attending GNBC for 5 years, Pastor Eric came on staff in January 2008. As Associate Pastor of Outreach, Eric oversees community outreach and Mosaic Small Groups. God called Eric into full-time ministry during his junior year of high school at Lane Tech. Eric received a B.A. in Bible Theology from Moody Bible Institute (Chicago, IL), a M.Div. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (Deerfield, IL) and is currently at Trinity working on a Ph.D. in Historical Theology. Eric is passionate for urban pastoral ministry and wants to see God raise urban leaders to shepherd His church. Eric married his high school sweetheart Erikah Danielle in 2003 and together are parents to Keziah Aneli and Lukas Adonijah. Robert Rivera Associate Pastor of Student Ministries | Pastor Robert became the Youth Pastor at Good News in 1999. He received God's call into ministry while a student at Steinmetz High School in Chicago. He enrolled at Moody Bible Institute where he received a B.A. in Bible Theology. Robert and his wife Ruth have a heart for the city and the youth of Chicago. Robert is a Star Wars fan providing great Yoda voice impersonations. He and Ruth have two children, Reyna Grace and Reuben Gabriel. |
